The Director of Development and Donor Engagement builds the charitable assets under management of Stanislaus Community Foundation (SCF) by working directly with prospective and current donors as well as professional advisors and other referral sources. Reporting to and working closely with the CEO, the Director of Development and Donor Engagement creates and executes an annual plan that generates growth in charitable funds, contributions into existing funds, and estate/planned gifts. The Director stewards relationships with individuals, families and corporations as well as professional advisors. The Director is also responsible for the development of donor-facing tools and strategies that further the philanthropic impact of current donors who give through SCF to local organizations and causes. The Director creates and executes strategic marketing tactics that include publications and special events for key constituents. 

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or related field of study is required along with at least 5 years of professional experience in development/fundraising. Experience with CRM/relational donor database required.
